Bklynbadboy said it best. You can forgive, but you never forget. Remembering is not a sin...it is a warning to your heart and mind so that you will never trust those people again.

I found that, for me, it took many years to forgive. 20 or more, in some cases.

@4meAndyou agree he did say it good , but I feel like it will help me heal and move once I forgive childhood once been decades and adult been over decades the first one last one last year soo it’s been tough I know everyone’s different with sexual assault
