How can I ask my bf for space without being rude?

He’s very obsessed with me and always wants me near him.
Even when he works on cars (which I find incredibly boring) he just wants me to sit out there in his presence for no reason.
He always wants me to go everywhere with him and enjoys showing me off to his buddies.
He doesn’t like going anywhere alone and it’s starting to get to me a bit.
He wants to spend time together 24/7. He said he’s bound to me.

Tell him you want him to learn as much about sex and lasting long as possible, and apply it to you. That way, you being near him all the time won't be a problem because you will be cumming always

I wish I knew the answer to that. I have a wife that’s too clingy. Idk what you should or shouldn’t do about that but get it fixed before he wants to marry you. It’s gets to be a very long, uncomfortable life if they stay clingy for forever.

Sit him down when only the two of you are there, preferably in a public place. Explain to him what you just explained to us. If necessary, play “You don’t own me” by Lesley Gore.

Any relationship that is scripted by what only one partner wants is not a relationship. It’s possession, obsession, ownership.

Be forewarned it may be the end of the relationship, but picture yourself in ten years still sitting in the garage while he and his buddies play with cars.

You should be thrilled he is that into you. What's the point of being in a relationship if you just want to go your own way?

Sure but if he gets jealous and suspects you might be wanting to see someone else on the side you need to be careful it doesn't undermine your relationship.

Well I don’t know how to answer your question as I’ve never been in a relationship before, but your concern is certainly valid.

I am not sure you have pros here...all cons....dump him and move on before you have 40 years of this
Even in a healthy relationship, you need space of your own to function sanely. And the stuff that he is showing off you to his buddies, doesn't sound to be mature enough.
