Traditional family relationship

This is just a question out of curiosity. I will start by saying that I am not for or against the traditional family hierarchy relationship style of a partnership. I think it works really well for some but obviously not for others. Just curious as to your look on this and why!

It only works if the man is responsible enough to take on that leadership position in an honorable and ethical way. I had the most amazing husband. He was smart, loyal and totally dependable. We had a traditional domestic discipline marriage and I honestly felt so much love and protection from him. It's my preferred way of living if I can totally trust my partner to lead like that.
@PatientlyWaiting25 this is my understanding of a good traditional marriage

What is meant by a “traditional family relationship”? I don’t think there’s any such thing.
@Ducky the relationship i am enquiring about is the one where the hierarchy begins and ends with the husband first and sons second. This is very old school but seems to be making a comeback in sime cultures.

Interesting use of the term "traditional." If you are speaking about cavemen, perhaps.
@samueltyler2 not going to disagree with that. But it's still pretty relevant in some Baptist communities
