I think no answer is your answer.

It’s not a great idea to be owing someone money early in a relationship before there’s any commitment.

@RedBaron those are circumstances that are between her and I, and are of no one else's concern. You included!
RedBaron · M
@GymRat584 Of course, I understand that.

But I can’t help wonder how solid the ground is for the relationship after that much time without commitment.
GymRat584 · 41-45, M
@RedBaron I pondered that myself at times, I admit that. But she has her reasons and I have to respect that. Also, for where I work location wise, moving in with her would not be feasible. However, if you love someone, I mean truly CONNECT with them on ALL LEVELS the way we did at the time, then it'll somehow work itself out.

Sounds like she might be breaking up with you my man, it's hard to say. Hopefully I'm wrong and it all works out, but you should be prepared for anything at this point.

It's good that you paid her back. Regardless of what happens, no one can ever say you didn't make her whole.
@GymRat584 whatever happens, be strong.

@GohantheThird I have to be. Thanks for all your support, by the way.
@GymRat584 no prob. Hope for the best, but prep for the worst.

Gosh poor you . You must be feeling terrible.

But better to end now, than in a divorce court later.

@peterlee quick update: she just now responded to me. She thanked me for the money and requested we speak either tomorrow or Sunday, to which I agreed.
peterlee · M
@GymRat584 I wish you well. There is hope there.

We all have baggage from our pasts.
GymRat584 · 41-45, M
@peterlee oh we sure do!
