Why do men say such upsetting things without thinking?

Guys just tend to talk to each other without a filter & no punches pulled. Just the way guys are while women tend to talk more behind your back to other women. I know I am being very very dangerous with generalizations but that's my observations. Not meaning to offend anyone here & it's just my humble opinion.

That's sort of vague for me to really comment on. In some ways that means you're in his inner circle BUT it shows he not very aware of you & what you need/want.

Well, once you get comfortable with your partner you tend to throw consideration out the window. It's true of platonic relationships too.
