What was your most painful break up like/over/how old were you, etc??

I was 20 and it hit me out of nowhere. I've always had a spidersense when a breakup is coming, this one it didn't happen. I had to shut down every emotion for nearly a year just to function.....I don't recommend it

In fact we just technically ‘broke up’ [i]again[/i] yesterday…(we were still trying to hang on to something, because we are truly best friends) 😞 My advice to you, don’t do it…if you’re thinking it, just don't. The one guy throughout high school. Maybe it was just a high school thing and wouldn’t have lasted, but we were most definitely in love at the time. But after we graduated, his family decided to move far away, for whatever reason. We didn’t break up by choice, so that just made it all the more heartbreaking. Sure, I’ve since moved on and am now married, but I still miss him. If he were around, I would love to still be friends.

My first love I was barely 18 years.

She was one of them that they wrote books about. We I first saw her all I did was stare at her like some creepy stalker. I couldn't even talk, every time I opened my mouth to talk to her. I mumble or not make since.

The next day her best friend calls me up and I didn't know it. But they had me on a 3 way call (I wonder if you can still make 3 way calling calls) and the girl I couldn't talk to, was on the other ender end.

Well low and behold we ended up dating and she was the first girl to cheat on me to.

I took it hard and did something stupid. I went and beat the shit out her new boyfriend and I went to jail.

Devastating. It changed me. I still struggle a little at times. It was in the last several years. You would think it would be easier being older, but no way, think it was the opposite.

Wow, my first marriage. We lost contact for over 20 years, until recently when she found my email address and wrote me to see how I was doing in my life. We exchanged phone numbers, big mistake, from that point on she insulted me. I held my tongue through it all. I finally took her out of my phone contacts and moved on. I'm truly better off without her drama. Long story short, I am done

We dated long distance for three and a half years and then I moved back (it's a long story) to be with her. It didn't last a year and I was really, really not okay afterwards.

@Notsimilarreally Yup! Especially at the age of 19 haha. I wish I had never gone back because I might not be disabled at this point if I hadn't, but that's not the way it worked out so oh well.

@Notsimilarreally Back to Canada. We had been up there because my dad was a pastor and had accepted a job there.

We ended up moving back to Georgia suddenly after my grandmother hurt her neck. She ended up passing away five months after we got back.
