What it’s like to be in a relationship with an age gap

A long time ago I used to date women a lot younger than me, but at some point they began less and less to understand the 80s pop culture references I use. At that point I decided to date someone closer to my own age so I wouldn’t have to keep explaining the references. So now I’m with a wonderful Filipina woman who’s just a couple years younger, but she’s only been in the country for a bit less than 15 years, so I’m constantly having to explain my 80s pop culture references 😂

Age-gap relationships work until they don't, which is very much like any relationship.

It's all in the two people in the relationship, and what it is that each wants from the relationship.

Yes I have had a few relationships both older and younger, by last gf was 20 while we met and 22 when we split last year. I’ve also dated a 36 yr old when I was 23.

I’m sure it’s different in each culture but there’s a point at which you’re no longer partners but pseudo adult-child relationships. Just my opinion
