Have u ever been a cheater

How did u rationalize it to yourself
Benjr134 · M
I have never cheated. However, as I’ve gotten older and looked back at my life and the lives of people I have see cheating, I have seen some arguments that are more valid. For example, I have seen this on both sides, a couple where one of them no longer has a desire for sex and the other does. They try for years to initiate intimacy without success.

My argument is, if you have made a decision to no longer want intimacy and sex you cannot expect your partner to accept it. Maybe it’s no longer your love language but it might be their love language. If the push and push and you push back then a day might come that they search elsewhere without even trying. I have seen scenarios where this happens and they meet someone of the opposite sex or even the same sex who shows them more of the love language they want. More of the intimacy they want. They might not even stop loving you they just might want the intimacy that you’re no longer willing to give. I think the moment you decide you no longer want intimacy, you should be the one to initiate a conversation about what to do next. Either letting them go, maybe opening up the relationship, or setting up a designated time and day for intimacy that you are at least comfortable with.

I’ve cheated.

It’s not a rationalization. It’s a reality. I lived for ages with a wife that was frigid - clinically a sexless marriage. In my case, sex would’ve been measured quarterly or perhaps annually. Albeit beyond her mental control, should you choose to believe that, it’s still cruel to a healthy partner.

Women see that and pursue you. It’s not uncommon if you’re successful, well dressed, kind and have an outwardly effusive outlook on life. I’m my case, a very attractive woman chose to show me what I was missing and it was an eye opener.

Although I chose not to marry her, I did get divorced a decade or so later. My wife and I had a discussion about her allowing an open marriage or divorce. She chose divorce.

There are no hard feelings on my part. She’s a wonderful mother and a very very kind person.

Six years hence, I‘ve remarried and am happier than I’ve ever been.

It probably doesn’t fit the agenda of most, but for me the affair was a wonderful, life changing experience.

I have not. My wife cheated on me when we were dating in college. She was free to date, but she knew she was not supposed to have sex with others. She rationalized it by saying that it was completely physical with no romance. She told all her partners about me and that she was committed to me. That is true because her "dates" told me that if they tried to get a serious relationship going, she dumped them.

I've cheated on every partner I've ever had. I justify it by it being fun and me being horny
I just don't like losing at cards, so i cheat because i can 🤔

Yes I did cheat on my last girlf, with my current girlf. I suppose I just liked being with my new girlf more, she was easier to be around, we had more in common.
My ex was a little bit scary, like too experienced, she smoked drugs with her friends and it always made me nervous.

I have dated two women at the same time and they weren’t aware of each other. Do I need to explain?

Yes, I have cheated many times, because I am in a sexless marriage.

Nope. Have you?
When my late ex fiancee confessed to me how she lied to get me to be with her, to make someone else jealous enough to leave his own longtime gf and their son they had together to be with her, then kick me out when he did, well, that was my justification to move into the spare room.
