Lol !

As I woman I won’t usually text a guy I like, unless it’s for a good reason, cause its nerve wracking and sends my anxiety through the roof if he doesn’t reply. We’re not much different to men.
LookingForTheSummer · 31-35, M
@SW-User Yes, I understand that.
@SW-User and you think guys are not nerve-wracked, and shattered by rejection or being ignored? 😂
SW-User
@Guardian That’s why I said we’re no different from you.

For some reason, I feel bad for the person who is interested in a person who is interested in someone else (like in your case, I feel bad for the girl who you're not interested in, especially if she's interested in you). To explain more, I feel bad for Person A, because they are interested (platonically or romantically) in Person B, who is interested (platonically or romantically) in Person C instead of Person A.
Person A is trying to get to know Person B more, but since Person B is only interested in Person C, it's like there's no point in Person A trying to get Person B's attention. And I find that sad (not out of mockery, but out of empathy).

But if Person A is a bad person (their actions, personality, etc), then I won't feel bad.
If Person A is a good person, but Person B is after Person C, a bad person, then I'll feel even more empathy for Person A.
If Person A is a good person, but Person B isn't, I may feel a slight bit of empathy, but just overall sad; they want someone who will only harm them, wether that's mentally, emotionally, or physically.

But since I am going to use hypothesis, I'm just going to assume Person A (the girl who is interested in you), Person B (you) and Person C (the girl who you are interested in) have decent personalities and are decent human beings; I feel bad for the girl who is interested in you. At age 12, my boyfriend saw a girl a year older than me, more prettier than me. He asked me if it was ok for him to ask that girl out after asking me if I'm ok with a threesome-relationship (poly, is the term. Back then, I didn't know either lol). He asked the girl and she said no. He then asked if it was okay for him to date her instead, so I said it was okay for him to. I said that because I knew he only dated me because I was the only girl in the class at the time.
And also, mostly because as a child, I never asked my crushes out; mainly because I didn't want to seem as a Pick-Me Girl (to better describe it: I didn't want to be hated by the girls in my grade, just in case they liked the same guy as I did. I was a little kid at the time too.

@Xalvadora I somewhat feel bad for person A, too. She's a nice person, but I just don't feel attracted to her.

What about person B? 😂
Xalvadora · 18-21, F
@LookingForTheSummer What is there to feel bad for Person B? Person B is not taking the chance of dating Person A, but is after Person C, who is seemingly uninterested.😂
AngelJade · 22-25, F
She likes you, you don't...the person you like, doesn't like you. This is why finding two people that actually are interested in each other is rather miraculous.

Look at it logically.
The girl you want, At least for now. Doesn't want you.

Now. You can sit around moping about it.
You can squirm and feel desperately uncomfortable if you can't escape this other woman.
OR you can roll the dice on a date and see what happens.

Maybe you'll go on one date and you'll both decide that maybe you've made more of a 'friend' rather than a 'romantic' connection.
Maybe she'll reject you outright as not being what she thought you were !

Or.......
ditch em both, that divorced mom a couple doors down has been checkin you out....... go over there and get busy.
LookingForTheSummer · 31-35, M
@YourMomsSecretCrush That actually made me laugh. Thank you. 😂
I totally agree with the first part of your comment, though.
Luckylu · 61-69, F
Probably the same reason you are interested in the one girl and not the other girl.
Some people are drawn to what they can't have, or to a challenge.
Many times it is where the person is in their life. I was once not interested in dating a certain man, he was a great guy but at the time, I was drawn to the bad boys, and the excitement. Later, after experiencing all the heartache from the bad boys, I realized I had made a mistake and should have at least given it a chance with the really great guy. By then it was too late.
Luckylu · 61-69, F
@LookingForTheSummer I like bad boys but I want to be treated respectfully. So how do you get both and still be a bad boy?

@LookingForTheSummer Its good that you saw that and moved on.
Muthafukajones · 46-50, M
Stop texting the girl you want so much… or at all and see if she responds back.
LookingForTheSummer · 31-35, M
@Muthafukajones I have stopped. 😅 I am not much of a chaser.
Muthafukajones · 46-50, M
@LookingForTheSummer if she doesn’t text you on her own within a few days she was never really interested.
DunningKruger · 61-69, M
You need to start showing excessive interest in the girl you're not interested in, but only when the girl you are interested in can see you.
ZhangBB · 31-35, M
the opposite attracts 😁
Either the girl is very comfortable with you as a FRIEND or she is extremely expressive about her feelings for you.
The one that's not replying you, might like you but just taking time or might not like you hence the ignorance. I think I made it very complicated now.
DDaverde · 61-69, M
That’s life ..answer the one who txts you
Honestly
SW-User
It's the way of the world, I was told.
Virgo79 · 61-69, M
Thats just the way it works🤷‍♂️
Ferric67 · M
You gave her your number, hence why you're getting the texts

If your going to respond, might as well send random pictures and emojis
Act as if it's somebody else...somebody like your buddy cliff or your cousin Susan
Ignore any corrections that she may respond with

That should cease and desist your situation
SW-User
just ignore the one you don't and text the other to find out if you're wasting your time
SW-User
Just plainly ask the girl you're interested in why she isn't texting you. It's better to be open, instead of hurting the other girls feelings. Women have feelings just as men do.....
LookingForTheSummer · 31-35, M
@SW-User I don't understand what made you think that I hurt other girls' feelings. 😅
SW-User
@LookingForTheSummer I'm just saying " Don't " hurt the other girls feelings.....I'm being honest with you here and you're the one asking the question!! I answered with an honest response!!
RedBaron · M
Probably neither one is right for you.

Throw your line back in the water! 😂🤣
You’re probably more relaxed with the one you’re not interested in, so she gets curious about you
same reason some people win the lottery and i dont,,
Freeranger · M
Clearly man, you never made her insignificant.

Booty Call
MoonaNorth86 · 36-40, F
Because she’s too shy she probably does like you but is waiting for you to make the move
