Why does it seem like certain people cannot be happy unless they have a boyfriend or girlfriend?

We are a very social species and many flourish with a partner in their life.

Yeah I’ve noticed that. And most complain about them half the time, defending them the other half. I’m good without.

Cause I need it man!

I am happily single

i suppose because they're social beings with a deep neediness for others to complete them.

I’m not exactly happy either way tbh.

It is a shame that some people feel like this, is not so important for me

It's human nature. God created us like that. There is no shame in accepting that. It's like the urge to have intimacy with someone other than yourself, is natural.

Not me, and I'm happy 😀
