People do become mentally handicapped after romantic relationship .

this is like asking if a blind person write a poem.... just because they are not like or have had the same experiences as their able-bodied partner there is no reason a person with a handicap can't do all the same things that their able-bodied partner can, i mean heck we see people with Down syndrome as actors now all over the place, just cause they are hindered by their physical form will never diminish their capacity to love another human being.
