Would you be jealous if someone else asked your significant other to dance?

Mindful · 56-60, F
Yes and no. I cannot own anyone. And I do believe that dancing is fun, flirtatious, and healthy activity. But sure I would wonder for a moment, especially if my sugar level was off, what if this person can sweep him off his feet. My answer to that is 1) he either loves me so I can trust him 2) if he doesn’t love me, let him go so that I can find some one else who does. Why? Dancing is fun. Dancing with friends can be even more fun. Dancing with strangers can be exciting. Going home with the person you love and loves you is what matters in the long run.

We only attend work related dances.

No .im not a great dancer and if my wife wants to get up for a twirl or two id let her enjoy herself
devonman · 61-69, M
No. I have never liked dancing, but she does. So she has always accepted dances from other guys when they have noticed my lack of interest. If a slow dance follows, they have had the benefit of holding her close.

Of course not. We used to go dancing with a group of friends, and everyone danced with everyone else's spouse/SO. My wife was often asked to dance by a stranger, and if he was not too drunk and seemed nice, she would dance with him. I'm not that great a dancer, and I enjoyed watching her dance with someone who was good.

Definitely not

We go dancing quite a bit or did until covid. Now its sporadic. When we go to clubs, we only dance with each other. If we are out with family or friends, we will dance with others.

Nah I'd be good with it. I'm single now, I'm my own significant other. I think I'd really like that to be honest. 😌

I will leave my eyes on their closeness and touches, and conversations
