@LadyJ Although I am good at fetch and play dead.
BetweenKittensandRiots · 36-40, MVIP
@LadyJ I try very very hard to stand out as one of the good ones but honestly I think the desire to roam might be a bit inborn.
And it's worse now than it was historically if you give me a minute on voice I'll explain. https://voca.ro/159aA4ouxmNi

I learned early that the majority of people do cheat, and so I just kind of expect it now. 🤷🏻♀️ I always tell my partners up front that I expect them to have a wandering gaze around other women, and that's fine as long as it doesn't go further than that.
However, I also tell them that if they do feel like they want to physically explore their attraction to someone else, at least have the courtesy to dump me first. 😒

I used to believe that as someone with a rough past what I needed/wanted was someone who also had a rough/complicated past because otherwise they wouldn’t understand me and be able to have a deep connection/relationship with me.
Nanori · F
@WhateverWorks that's what I've been thinking about
WhateverWorks · 36-40
It took a longgg time and a lot of inner work, but I’m so glad I let go of that belief. @Nanori
I always believed that when you have a partner, they are the only one you should flirt with... i tend to have had girlfriends that just loved flirting with others so much that it affected our relationships. I mean I guess lotalty is not something that exist anymore
Spoiledbrat · F
My husband used to flirt. It used to make me feel bad. I was young and it made me feel undesirable and I didn't understand it. I became unhappy in my marriage. And after my mom died I just felt alone. And I had his kid. I trusted him. But he's different now and hasn't flirted in years. @SimplyMeChantou

I use to believe that when you loved someone, they loved you in return. I use to believe that two people would work on a relationship and care the same.
What I do know for sure is it's still going to go wrong if you treat all the same and don't give others a chance on their own merits.

Any relationship I've been in, I did focus solely on them.
I even had one ex tell me that she feels bad for being with me because I'm not toxic & later on it turned out she cheated me 🤷 that one fucked me up. I thought she was real

I had a bf who was solely concentrated on me so at least I have that positive experience 😛
PaleandPolluted · 36-40, F
@Nanori that sounds lovely. All of my relationships were terrible, I've been single for 10 years almost. I don't respond to emotional pain well.
zerofuks2give · 41-45, M
Studies show that good looking men are more likely to cheat, so find you an ugly one
PaleandPolluted · 36-40, F
@zerofuks2give ugly men are going to be more grateful, there's another misconception.
zerofuks2give · 41-45, M
@PaleandPolluted 🤷🏻♂️
Miram · 31-35, F
If you work hard enough, you can make it work.
Spoiledbrat · F
Men who like flirting a lot like the attention or interaction. I'd try to find someone who doesn't need it. We all find ways of feeling alive. Maybe that's their way of feeling alive.
PaleandPolluted · 36-40, F
@Spoiledbrat the insecure ones seem to do stuff like that.
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
that women can be in a simple relationship without starting a bunch of needless drama...🤔
SW-User
I guess same goes for quite a few women. I have trouble finding at least one loyal woman 😟
ImpeccablyImperfect · 51-55, F
That the other one obviously loves you as much as you love them….
🤦♀️
🤦♀️
PaleandPolluted · 36-40, F
@ImpeccablyImperfect my ex once said,
"Just because I don't love you as much as you love me doesnt mean i don't love you a lot."

Quetzalcoatlus · 46-50, M
What’s a real woman?
Viper · M
@Quetzalcoatlus another great point... what and whom determines what is and isn't a real woman, because others (especially the opposite sex) might have extremely different opinion on that...
PaleandPolluted · 36-40, F
@Quetzalcoatlus well one they can touch.
longhairedcougar · 51-55, F
Men will be men afterall silly doggies
Majorlatency · M
In theory that's wonderful. In practice we can be an:

women are a nightmare to live with
FreeSpirit1 · F
Bang em and forget em, works for me 🤭
Jeephikelove · 51-55, F
I agree with you. 😒
Spoiledbrat · F
Not all men are like that. But yeah lots are. I don't know, I think it's there sole purpose for living.
Spoiledbrat · F
Though I think some flirting is harmless.
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
People can not be happy without them.
empanadas · 31-35, M
Naw there's some good dudes like that but you probably got them in your friendzone
ChiefJustWalks · 26-30
@Nanori guy friendzone jokes are so cringe 😂 not a shot at you though Tacobell, you're great 👌

@Viper the appeal of "bad boys" is that they're typically self sufficient (they don't require a "mommy" to instruct them on everything), they aren't afraid to be a leader/protector for the people they care about (most "boring" guys won't fight for you), and typically they are charismatic and interesting (unlike most of the more "boring" types).
It's not that women are drawn to guys who will hurt them, it's that we see these desirable qualities and decided to take a chance with the guy, despite other less desirable qualities.
Guys do this same kind of profiling to women, how many guys will choose the sexy, exciting "hot" girl over the safe "boring" girl next door?
