@SW-User Connections are wonderful, but you can’t always be with someone with whom you share a connection. I’d rather not long for someone whether it’s mutual or not, but I understand what you’re saying.

@ChampagneOnIce Such is life. Sometimes it almost feels as if the reason it's done that is to teach you that life is hard. Seems like kind of an arbitrarily harsh lesson - especially when you see some prick is happy and hasn't earned it and is genuinely unappreciative but ah well. Such is life.

@SW-User I don't tend to notice nor spend my time on jerks, but I agree with the harsh lesson. Definitely a learning experience, but you live and learn and keep going. I have a lot of good in my life, and I'm grateful every day for it. I try to focus on the positive. Some days are better than others, but overall, I'm a pretty upbeat person. :) We all have a heartache somewhere, though. C'est la vie.

@EasyFriend I definitely understand this feeling. We do need a balance of alone time and time with people. It’s hard when neither desire can be satisfied.

@InvisibleGirl Oh, I'm careful not to write people off. I do have a tendency to look for a custom fit in an off-the-rack world. But the things which are really important to me in relationship, really NEED to be in place. The details aren't nearly as important as the big picture. x

@PhoenixPhail That’s good, don’t stop searching. If you really think you like someone, don’t let them go. It’s worth it. And make sure to let them know, in case they feel the same way - don’t be afraid of them not feeling the same way. ☺️

I'm not afraid to show people my truth, I just have to be prudent and diplomatic with how I do that. But, if the a relationship isn't based on truth, it's all in vain.
