Update: I broke up with him

We are taking a week break apart. Not even talking, and from there we are going to try to salvage a friendship. I do think he is a cool individual, but we were not right in a relationship together. I'm glad I gave it a good amount of time to come to this decision (3 months). Not staying in it too long, like I usually do. We also paid for a vacation to Hawaii while we were still together. We are still going to go in December because that's a lot of money to waste otherwise. We'll see what happens.

I'll never get why girls are obsessed with this. 99.9999999% of the time it fails. The rest of the times it works for a bit to then either fail or end in an emotionless acquaintanceship.

Oh damn, this doesn't sound good at all. But most probably cancelling everything and losing the money will turn out to be the least damaging option.
