Do you believe in soulmates? I hate romantic movies but I love the idea of such a deep connection.

Soulmates are made, not born.

I certainly believe that some people have a connection that doesn't make a lot of sense on a purely conscious level, but I don't like the concept of a "soulmate", per se.

In a way, it seems to be an easy out when relationships get difficult. Like "Oh well, guess he/she wasn't my soulmate after all. I'll just let her/him go and look for the right one this time."

Yes, I do. My favourite one is Twin Flames, as the connection to this person, despites half a world apart, can love, care, challenge, teach and best of all, heal.

I believe I did find him...once. I didn't marry him, but he drove me all the way to Cleveland to meet his parents. He might as well have introduced them to a chicken, because that's the amount of brains and emotional maturity I had in those days.
