One of my dogs once had a litter of cute little puppies. The first born was huge, and a little slower than the others, and I named him "Stinky" because he was so cute! (He did NOT stink!).
When I leaned down and said in a baby voice, "Tinky Tinky Tinky!!! Tinky Tinky Tinky!!!" he would start wagging his tail from one end of himself to the other...🤣🤣🤣
He gets super excited when he sees the hub and I get ready to go out because he knows he's going with us. He knows he'll be getting a pup cup at Starbucks. If we are taking too long to get ready he gets impatient and will bark...hurry up damn it! lol When we get to the drive thru they know him and say how cute he is. 🥰 Words he knows: Pup cup Bye byes Treat Ball Toy Walk When I say you are my honey bunny, say he's cute in a baby voice, etc he melts and wants a tummy rub. Hes my little boy. I adore him
Peanut butter and eanutbutterpay(because our dogs know pig latin)🤣 Chicken and icknechay Out -because they like to go outside The happy birthday song and the Lord's Prayer because they howl up a storm ( in time with the words) when the family sings or says the prayer together.🙏
We have 4 dogs. Three are American Bullies, and they were raised by a Beagle (Our oldest dog), and she taught them to talk. It is always very noisy in our home..🙂
@Journaling4Me People underestimate a dog's grasp of language, I had a dog that learned to spell. W-A-L-K got the same response as just speaking the word. Cat Kitty Big Kitty (mountain lion) Squirrel car, truck, ride french fries He had an advanced ability for learning, he could spell new words with just one or two tries.

newt's fave words laser pointer (this word is banned in the house bc i learned of laser pointer syndrome and he loves it way too much) play outside potty team pee eat hamburger (he likes words with r's i think bc of laser pointer) tito (he loves tito) drive (idk if he knows what this means or he just knows the others get excited)
@Hireath I'd forgotten about that film, but yes, it's the same thing. My dog will sit barking at the tree when the word is spoken long after the squirrel has leapt to another one. 😂
