A day well spent 🙂 I do not have much room for any more books of my own, but I still enjoy buying for my sisters and all our nieces and nephews.
@SunshineGirl Library's are like Irish family's always room for one more!

I'm 70 and slowly giving my many books (history, literature and art) to Goodwill because no one in my family wants them 😢
@tindrummer I am faced with the same quandary my library has 2000 titles on historical firearms and my family isnt interested I am hoping to find a home from them when I am getting ready to kick the bucket.

I loooove used book stores, I rarely ever buy brand new books. I'm always on the lookout for old vintage horror paperbacks.

A lovely thought! I agree entirely and have sometimes found old books that made ideal Christmas presents for a few people.

My favourite book shop is the O'Connells Bookshop in the Station arcade. It has an amazing collection and the staff never pester you when you enter and if you ask any of them for a specific book they can take you to it, usually without looking it up first.
@Thevy29 OMG ! Book Heaven!
