HARRY POTTER

Who agrees that an intelligent, strong-willed character such as Hermione Granger would've naturally gravitated towards the alpha male of the series, Harry, and would never have had time for an awkward, shambolic character such as Ron Weasley? To me, the romantic element of the series has never"rung true" : Harry and Hermione by nature should've been destined for eachother, with Ron and perhaps one of the other female characters (Fleur Delacours, Luna Lovegood) becoming romantically involved. I'd be interested to hear what other fans' opinions are on this.

The character as they are portrayed in the movies or in the books?
Because Ron was more alpha then Harry in the books.
And they only made Hermione seem smarter in the movies by giving her all of Ron's best lines.

@Thevy29 That's an interesting take on it. I confess, I haven't read alot of the actual books, so you're more qualified in this area than I am. I always felt disappointed that Harry & Hermione didn't end up together, in the same way I think that Obi Wan Kanobe was killed off way too early in Star Wars. We'll save that debate for another day! 😁

@Thevy29@Strictsir Ron was super into Fleur delacor in the books. Then he found out she was a quarter veela. Which is like a siren that attracts men and eats them xD. Idk I didn't care how any of their relationships went anyway. Would have liked to see more of the Madame and Hagrid in the movies. Especially since that annoying reporter lady had an illegal animagus ladybug transformation. And used Hagrids status as a half giant for the newspapers, causing a lot of drama. The trio caught her and put her in a jar at the end lol.
