@canusernamebemyusername Doesn't have to be oatmeal, farina such as Cream of Wheat would also be a kind of porridge....but oatmeal is a very common type of porridge.

It's either oatmeal, or pea soup with bits of ham...never quite sure in the old stories...but pease porridge is a thing in the old nursery rhymes.
