Was the last time I got to pat her head, give her the butt scratches she loved so much, and rub her soft ears. Those ears were the calm I needed to fall asleep each day.

I haven't slept well since.

Then the following Friday one of my favorite musicians releases this. It's a song I wear on my shirt every day.
