Is the saddest word in the english language?

Sad, did I get it right. 😂 Lonely is my real answer.
@maskedbandit I don't know if there's a right answer. I know my answer and so far nobody's said it

The meaning is positive but it sounds negative.

Lonely .

Not being alone ....but lonely. Like that lonely you can be in a crowd, or even with people you know.
That isolated-ness of disconnection in which you feel you are the only one of your species .

@OogieBoogie been there. Wrote the book. Now I’m good.
@Madmonk I think I have too. And I'm at peace with it now.

I think it ultimately helped me - to be alone for a while.
It made me come to terms with myself a bit more....face a few things that I never had, because I'd never been alone enough to see they were there .

I think we fear being alone.
I think we keep ourselves stuffed with entertainment, and jump from one relationship to another, so we never face 'alone-ment'.

And I'm not sure that's a good thing.
@OogieBoogie that's my entire existence. I know I'd be better off just accepting it, but there's a small part of me that refuses to give up on something changing.

Lonely without being alone but because it feels like my true self is not seen or understood either by others or from within.

That lonely sucks
