I worked at a diner on a secondary highway back in the late 70s. There were no customers and I was gazing out the window when a truck that looked a lot like that one rattled past, followed by a Volkswagen Beetle, with 4 girls in it.
I don’t know why the trucker slammed the brakes, but he did, and a log flew into the windshield of the Beetle and out the rear window.
Somehow the four girls in the VW ducked fast enough to avoid injury. Just a few cuts from the broken glass.
Miraculous.

@Rokan Yes. I did. When I heard their voices and knew they had not been decapitated - at least not all four.

@Rokan I described them as four young girls, not as three girls plus an exemplary driver. The truck driver wasn’t topnotch either.
