I am now seeing people use the phrase "two things can be true at the same time" a lot. It is pretty obvious that two things can be true but why do so many people jump on to using and making certain prases or words popular.

Because they didn't know until it became viral. That's the only way they get information. And they will abuse the phrase to death until it means nothing.
@ScreamingFox its always going to mean what its going to mean but i dont think its always valueble to point out two things can be true at the same time. Its just like i get how that really fits sometimes but there are other ways to communicate without being so repetitive.
