Just a thought
I had to look up what the BAFTA's where which is the (British Academy of Film and Television Arts), and apparently a white man with Tourette Syndrome said the N word which has raised huge emotional debates all over the internet. There is a wide range of people who were outraged at this man for what he said and others trying to offer support to this man for his disability.
Now i can't claim to know how deeply certain words hurt others and i cant claim to know what it is like to have a disability like Tourette Syndrome.
What i think on this subject is maybe this is a reflection on what people really think about the disabled community. What is needed here is a compassionate discussion on both sides of the issue that doesnt victim blame or attack others, but i don't see that happening with the hate that has grabbed hold of others hearts.
