It’s a scary feeling to not know if you’ll get up and react fast enough. People can be craZy.
Something seriously big like that happened by me. I almost went to look at the house many years ago that was built on that property(house was burnt down to cover up the murders.. Had a bad feeling when the guy pointed out where to meet him for the next house and when I said what happened there, something bad happened I can feel it- he told me it was that property. Then recently I used gps to see a house and ended up there again 😩

I often listen to true crime and one story related to this caught my attention. It was about a man who randomly killed people in their houses if their front door was open. He didn't care who was it at all. If he tried and it was locked he simply turned away and went to another house.

Every night before going to bed I check every lock in the house and close all the blinds. Safety should always come first. Also as the sun sets that's when I first close and lock doors. Since we watch TV in the back of the house I will leave the rear doors open in the winter to let a little cool air in. In Southerner Florida it is usually too hot during the day to leave doors open.
