Just a thought

Im sitting here thinking about my childhood and how i was raised comparing it to how kids are raised now and it is totally different with the rules. Seatbelts weren't a thing, second hand smoke wasn't a thing, leaving kids at home or in a running car was normal, and people say well you cant do that anymore we live in a different world now. We have so many more crazy people now, but did we really?

I call bullshit on that one mother...

we definitely live in a more poisoned and fearful world ...is it more safe..? I don't know.
On the other hand, perhaps seatbelts weren't a thing, but belts were, child abuse was considered the way to discipline.. But on the same note, children were learning to face real life since early on, and were more free to do things by themselves and were trusted in their knowledge and tested in their understanding.. Observations.
