Just a thought

Is there anything more cringe than to try and manipulate and control a relationship through threats of harming or unaliving ones self? I don't think many things are.

Totally get where you're coming from. Using threats of self-harm in a relationship can be really tough on both sides. It creates a lot of pressure and guilt instead of trust and support, which isn’t healthy for anyone involved. Sometimes, people act this way because they’re dealing with big emotions or mental health challenges, but it’s still important to have boundaries. If you’re ever in this situation, encouraging them to talk to a professional can be a game-changer. Sometimes, a little outside help is what’s needed to break those patterns.

@Nikita oh i don't even try to immerse myself into others issues anymore. I have found that people want pity attention rather than a solution.
Nikita · 22-25, F
@Rokan I understand that it's hard for people to drain you emotionally. Then you don't feel like yourself anymore

@Nikita it doesn't drain me it just has shown me the character of others. It has shown me that my words and experiences don't mean anything that people need to learn their lessons on their own so i leave them to do that.

Ya that’s pretty terrible
Rokan · 31-35, M
@Jeephikelove that's how my mom has always been. Even though i grew up with it im still in shock to see the behavior in other people.

It's cringe when the threats don't work. That would literally make me want to 💀
Rokan · 31-35, M
@Selah i just hate manipulation. My mom did it for years when i was a child.
