I Have Random Thoughts

As Prom Season approaches, it reminds me of how I was never asked to my Prom. I was the shy duckling in high school, with low self-esteem, who later transformed into a swan. I sometimes regret that I didn't go anyway. I've even had a "Pretty Woman" moment, where I thought it would be fun to buy a beautiful ball gown, and go out for an extravagant evening, and enjoy my own modern-day "prom night" with DH. Has anyone else felt this way? ✨👠

I got prom queen. And the whole night I felt insecure, ugly and shy. Your happiness and how you feel about yourself isn't about what nice dresses you wear it's all about how you feel about yourself without anything on lmao😊

Good point. Interesting that you got Prom Queen, yet felt the same way I did about myself. So true about the dress, but being a hopeless romantic, I've always loved a good Cinderella story.
