The Nanjing Massacre reminds me of why I don't trust maga.
I was re-learning about it because I'm in school and it wasn't about Nanjing but more about the war. It's not what I'm going to school for but have to do history class. I asked a random question about how soldiers were able to do those atrocities. To me, I simply don't get what enables a person to do that. Apparently the Japanese military did all sorts of things like used violence on their soldiers and would often beat them.
They basically drilled it into their heads that Japanese people were more superior and that the Chinese were just inferior. So basically that allowed these soldiers to cut off their emotion to terrorize whole populations.
We see the same thing with white culture and how we see propaganda about how whites are superior. A few small pieces of white anti black propaganda is the black single mother or whites started the whole welfare queen slur back years ago. The same types of propaganda showed up during native American times and stuff.
It's not that I'm saying maga would do stuff like the Nanjing Massacre but a lot of that groups ideology sets it up for that because it mirrors the same sentiment and its leaders like dog killer Kristi Noem, Pam Bondi... a lot of others basically mirror that from those leaders as well.
