I did take candy from a stranger once and other assorted memories.

I was in elementary school at the time I wanna say around 3rd grade give or take. My brother and I were riding our bikes around in the summertime and an old lady gave us these candy necklaces. I began eating mine while my brother was hesitant. He was the one who said we shouldn't probably eat them and I remember we threw them under a tree and rode off.

We also enjoyed throwing dirt clumps at each other and making mud food. I would sit in the driveway and I had these plastic play spatulas and other utensils from a playfood set. I would sit there and cook mud burgers and mud cookies and all sorts of things. We would squabble over who made them better and he liked to cut up worms on the sidewalk which I thought was gross. I can still smell them ugh it was a gross smell.

I remember really liking playdoh too and there was this one particular McDonald's set I got one year where you could make fries and nuggets and whatnot from molds. He was the playdoh eater not me however in elementary school I got busted eating erasers off pencils and cried because a girl in my class busted me.I was the weird kid who ate paste, erasers, crayons....etc

I also remember getting mad when my brother got the gameboy color for christmas.his was purple and see through and I thought that was the greatest thing ever at the time. I got the skipit that loved to slam into my shins and ankle and I never got the hang of that thing. Years later we both got the gameboy advance when that came out and I felt like I had arrived. I actually still have it somewhere and a few odd games I believe I also have his too. I had more games but I lent some to someone and never got them back. No point in asking now since it was over 15 years ago.

Something my brother still won't let me live down is when I was in elementary school I burnt my mouth on a hotpocket pretty good, cried and got to stay home from school. Every now and then he will bring that up just like he won't let it die that I was the genius who put regular dish soap in the dishwasher and bubbles invaded the kitchen in a major way. I also got busted melting things on a lightbulb from my bedside table lamp. I melted a crayon, a plastic stylus and other things until I was tattled on and busted for it.

It's amazing the things I can remember if I sit and think long enough especially since the older I get the more muddled the details become.
