To have this little one’s energy

I’m jumping around, catching falling stuff because he's like a cat, looks straight at you and pushes it over, turn around and the living room looks like a cyclone hit.


It’s only 12:30. Coffee gave up. Hand over the espresso.

This is how they learn. One day one of those things they push over will land on their foot and they will understand not to do silly things like that.
It wouldn't hurt to tell them about it before it happens either. Approach the topic like "You remember that time you hurt yourself? well, imagine if something heavy landed on your foot, how would that feel?"
Of course if they are not old enough to understand you then you might need to drink more coffee and wait.

@JamesBugman I found wine more helpful for waiting out high energy kids.
I remember being like that. Maybe thats why my mom always seemed frazzled lol
