I remember part of a song from the '70s. The lyrics I remember are:

Gotta get up to the get down beat, yeah, gotta get up, get it on.

I've searched for years, but I cannot find any song with those lyrics.

I remember it because it's what I say to myself while I'm still half unconscious and trying to get up in the morning.
