It just took an embarrassing amount of time to change the display settings on my car.

I had gotten an oil change, and I don't know what they did, but it was all messed up. So, it took forever to figure out how to get the temperature outside, the compass, the time, back on my display. Because, you know what? These are things I need to know to get through my day.

These things think they are way too smart for my own good. The other day, the vehicle said that i needed to check the engine, the ABS and traction control were faulty, all the driver assist stuff was out, the nav system was dead and the oil desperately needed changing.

The actual problem after a text to my friend in the service department? Loose gas cap. I kid you not.
@FrozenWasteland i had something needed replaced few months ago, they asked me to check gas cap because it sometimes triggers this warning. Was some kind intake valve/ hose idk. Honestly don't remember. Lol my extended warranty covered it

@Bexsy i get that a loose gas cap (or a cracked hose) will cause an evap emission warning --usually the check engine light. But why it lights up pretty much every other symbol on the dashboard is beyond me.
@FrozenWasteland thats what it was! Emission thingy
Thank you
