And that was when I realized I had completely forgotten that our anniversary was Sunday.

It's OK, though. The wife had completely forgotten, too.

Ha ha ha...That has been happening with us for a few years now.It is like after the 40th year, it just started slipping our minds. Luckily, we have a son who got married on the same day we did ( 24 years later), and he always wishes us a Happy Anniversary, and it is like, "Oh yeah! Happy Anniversary, Honey." 😅

@Journaling4MeAgain I had a friend whose anniversary was Dec. 7. Every year, I'd wish her a happy Pearl Harbor Day. Appropriate, considering her marriage.
