Are you a neighborly type of neighbor?
I live in a condo and keep to myself. I'll say hi if you say hi first however.

Not really.
I know each of the three neighbours on my rural boundaries. I like 2 and dislike one.
I would help with anything they might need in an emergency, and the ones I like I do favours for anytime.
I know most of the neighbours beyond my boundaries to about 4 ks distant, but only chat when we happen to meet on the road on in the village.
All of us pull out all stops to help anyone during floods, fires or accidents, and that includes helping livestock and wildlife
-- that's just the norm in rural life around here.
But most of the time we keep to ourselves and all of us prefer it that way.
