Today , I’m choosing not to stress.

Trying not to lsugh at that.
Just a few hours to let my mind breathe. Maybe a kickass dinner at home tonight.
Another midweek night off, still feels strange, makes me all fidgety.
But I’m leaning in. Giving into the quiet.
Nothing on the agenda... except that one thing.
Just trying, really trying, to relax for once.
Why is that so hard?

I'm the same way. I'm getting back into my hobbies and enjoying how they relax me. No time constraints, no pressure, and my mind can think in the background so it doesn't overwhelm my calmness doing the hobby. I'm usually fixing something so I have to focus on the task which forces other thoughts to go into background mode. Do you have a hobby? They make kits where you assemble a clock or other things to satisfy your tinkering love.

Honestly, I get it. Slowing down sounds simple but it’s weirdly hard when your mind’s always racing. Hope tonight gives you even just a little bit of that peace you're chasing. You deserve it.
@mindstruggle no, i cant have anything until this afternoon
