Yet another crisis

The wife had a CT scan yesterday. The results were seriously concerning.

The wife has a major health crisis every six or seven years. The CT scan wasn't conclusive of anything, but she has convinced herself that it's cancer; she has been trying to convince herself she has cancer again since the last time.

And she's as happy as a clam, because nothing makes a hypochondriac happier than them actually finding something really wrong.

And somehow I'm the one that's dying.

Not quite sure if I should feel bad for your wife, you, or both. Sounds tough. I can only hope things look up for you both, soon.

Baffaling mindset on her. My mother-in-law was like that. When she finally got really sick, I didn't believe ther.

@JimboSaturn That's part of the problem. She has been right often enough to justify it in her mind. Some people believe that that sort of mind set can actually cause illness. I don't know if I believe that, at least not so specifically, but who knows.

If the doctor didn't say cancer you should not precipitate the diagnosis. It could be anything...

What about you? What is wrong?

CT scans can give you cancer. Only get them if its really necessary.

@Penny Thank you, Doctor.
