Monk for a month?

I was reading about a course that encourages disconnecting from not just technology but society in general. No tech, no speaking, no meat, no alcohol, no touching, no eye contact and so on. Sounds more extreme than no nut November

Those who’ve done it (the Monk class) say it changed them. Good for them . But I don’t think it’s for me.

Can you live like a monk for a month? Or do you wanna party like it’s 99? 🤘🏼

Update
Here’s the link to what I was reading. It’s a 30day course at U of Penn

You shouldn't start with 30 days - but you can experiment with taking a weekend. Of course what matters is the context you do it in. Approaching it entirely from a secular context is probably a lot more difficult and in most cases not really helpful.
