Can you pronounce ‘heir’ and ‘air’ differently?

Heir = â'îr= like its almost got two syllables but not quite.
Air = âr



(â being an 'eh' type sound ,as in aff(ai)r
And î almost being an 'ea' sound as in y(ea)r)
