THE VOICES-

Does anyone else have these weird little voices in your head? They don't even have to sound different than what YOUR inner voice sounds like. When I say I have voices, I mean that I have REALLY random thoughts that just pop into my head for no reason at all. Thoughts with a sender that has a WAY different personality than me.
(Where's the 'return to sender' option-)

Whoever's living in my head, you better start paying rent or I'm kicking you out.

Just another fine day of vibing with the voices in my head :)
Completely normal I read somewhere. I got concerned because some of the voices sound like real people I know or knew

@Justafantasy This is the daily conversation that goes on in my head everyday lol.
@Aether0Starflux this wasn't in my head, this was out loud well grocery shopping

i used to think i was schizophrenic because i would hear my own voice whisper really messed up stuff in my ear. turns out it was just intrusive thoughts and i was giving it too much attention.

My inner voice is supposed to sound somehow? It's just thoughts. Thoughts are many times faster than I could ever talk, how can they have a voice?
Aether0Starflux · 22-25, C
@CrazyMusicLover Sometimes I think in the voices of other people, mainly when thinking of something that they said.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@Aether0Starflux Yeah, I think that's normal. You have that data stored in the memory but could you imagine them saying something you never heard them saying? It's much harder for me and if, then only in language they speak.
Aether0Starflux · 22-25, C
@CrazyMusicLover I can, actually. It's honestly pretty weird, lol

Usually schizophrenic people do.

You have allowed a portal in your mind to remain open to random thoughts that are being generated by others, which is why you don't recognize the voice nor the personality behind the thought you can hear.
Aether0Starflux · 22-25, C
@SandWitch How do I close the portal? It ain't paying rent, so it gotta leave.

@Aether0Starflux
Open portals of the mind are a direct reflection of our tolerance to our own ego's misguided behavior.

What I mean is, when we allow our ego to leave open a portal in our mind, we are really allowing our ego to eavesdrop into other people's private conversations, as if secretly listening-in on a conversation on a telephone.

When we hear those voices in our head, we are listening-in on the thoughts of other people, even though we don't necessarily know who those other people are nor where they are.

Those portals open randomly by our unconscious thought, which is our inattention to our ego's behavior. When that happens, when we hear those unfamiliar voices in our head, we simply say to ourselves to close that door or cut that communication link because those voices have nothing to do with our life.

At that point you'll notice that the voices immediately cease and you'll have silence in your mind, but you have to be vigilant against the mind wanderings of ego because our ego can be vicious.
