I think older people should have a decent pension without being taxed on it, free or at least subsidised transport and free decent and respectful care and accommodation when they can no longer look after themselves.
Younger people should get lessons in how to be a good person and/or parent, adequate payment for bringing up/looking after their own children at home and financial help with owning their own place.
I reckon 25 is the ball park for adulthood - but there are many aspects to maturity which does very much vary between individuals 🤔 🙂
