Wonder why

In my actual life, most of my friends are girls my age. But online pretty much all the good friends I have made have been men that are usually 10+ years older than me 🤔 Like generally middle aged men. This has been the case since like....forever. How does that make sense lol. (Before you go oh of course older men would want to befriend young women online...none of these men I befriended were or are ever creepy or perverted with me. There have been a couple instances admittedly where my friends admitted having feelings for me...but they were always very respectful of me wishing to stay just friends and we still remained friends afterwards. But the majority of my online older guy friends never expressed such interest in me, it was just platonic.)

99% of all friendships I try to strike up with girls my age online ghost me. (Even when they reach out to me first!) I am rarely ever contacted by women significantly older than me. Guys my age online....I like never have interesting conversations with and I end up ghosting them.

Idk I cannot puzzle it out. I have literally no older male friends in my actual life 🤨 I wonder if it's cuz I would be kind of freaked out to actually hang out with or talk in a casual way with older men in real life. Hm. Also why can I not keep any girl friends my age online when all of my friends offline are girls my age 🤨 why do I connect best with girls my age offline and men significantly older than me online 🤨 it's a mystery 🤪
