I think that is already the case with many.
It takes guts, determination, being unselfish,loyalty,forgiveness,willing to change,compromise, kindness, patience,communication,and a realization that your partner is not the only one with human flaws.

Even if that were written into the contract, there would still be all the hassle and heartache regarding the division of assets and custody of children. So I don't think this would be much simpler than what couples do now when they divorce.
