Birthday present

So, my birthday is this upcoming Monday. Today, the wife said that, while she was out shopping, she got me another birthday gift (yes, there have been gifts; no, the wife isn't good at lining up with the actual dates for this sort of thing), even though she had said the last one was the last. She also said, "And I didn't get one for myself, because I don't need one."

I am both curious and horrified. Now, keep in mind, in the 22 years we've been married, the wife has never, ever, given me a gift of anything that I particularly wanted or needed. Rather, her idea of a good gift is something that she would enjoy giving you. Or something she wanted for herself. Not to say that she hasn't given me nice gifts. They're often just, you know, eccentric, let's say.

So, what could this latest gift be? Place your guesses below, and the person who comes closest to guessing the thing will receive some sort of gift from me.

Please, no wagering.

Give us a clue!? What has she gifted you in the past?

@AntisocialTroll Shortly we got together, she came by my job to give me a present she picked up for me because she was so excited to give it to me. It was a plastic figure, filled with sand, I think, of an ape sitting on a pile of books contemplating a bust of Darwin.

Another time, she went to our local game store (I've collected games for a long time) and purchased two RPG supplements. I don't remember what they were, but they were both for games that a) I didn't play and b) didn't even have the core books for. They seemed to have been purchased at random.

Yet another time, she wrote me a poem, scribed it out on paper, rolled it up and put it in a nice corked bottle. There was a bunch of other similar stuff, all handmade. I still have the bottle, but I don't think the other things survived her regular purges.

@AntisocialTroll No, sorry.
