When you accept help from anyone...

Have you all ever accepted help or advice from someone and then have them act like it was an open invitation to belittle you and talk down to you? This has happened with literally everyone I've ever accepted any kind of help from, which is why I don't do it anymore. I can't remember the last time anyone has truly done anything out of the kindness of their own heart and not for some shady ulterior motive.
