It’s actually pretty complicated even for us, because the cup size isn’t based on total volume, so changes based on bad size because the volume of breast is more spread out. Most girls don’t even totally get it., if we’re being very honest. They just know what’s comfortable and have someone size them. I worked on the fashion side of things, so I know a little more than most and had a detailed reply one time to a guy on one of my threads.
@whowasthatmaskedman I don’t know what that means.
@DunningKruger I’ll try and find it.

@DarkHeaven One of my hats fit her breast perfectly😷
Here was my reply.

[quote]there are many different kinds of bras and I could be talking for a week. I’ll just briefly go over a few. Bralettes are great for us small girls that don’t need the support of a full bra. They are comfy, non restraining and don’t suck you in like a sports bra. These bras are almost useless to C cup and above because the bigger the boob the more support needed. Push up bras are great for us small gals because it gives us enough lift that it actually gives the impression that we have a little more than we do upstairs. Padded bras are good for girls looking to fill up her dress a little better or for all us gals (big or small) that have nipples that can cut glass, so we aren’t uncomfortable showing off the goods. Sports bra’s are great for working out or any kind of physical work because they support you by sucking you in and keeping your boobs out of the way of your workout but they can kind of get uncomfortable after a while and give us all uniboob to greater or lesser degree based on boob size. I also like them to sort of smooth me out and make my boobs disappear in baggy clothes like a hoodie, so I can be low key and kind of androgynous when I’m out and about, and not wanting to draw any attention to myself. And finally your full cup regular kind of bra, that’s good for any boob shape or size but is a lot more than most of us small girls want or need. Last of all is the underwire bra, that gives extra support to our bigger boobed sisters. Strapless of course is great for strapless dresses but typically works best on smaller boob sizes. There’s way more kinds and varieties based on boob shape, size, clothing style, and even body type but that’s a little bit of a behind the scenes for ya.

Also the numbers before the cup size are the band size and they are literally the size of the back band of the bra but they have an effect on cup size as the volume of boob is more spread out with a bigger band causing the cup size to be smaller as a result.
