We walk into love with the big things about someone like their personality.

Hmm. Right. I'm not sure it's the endearing qualities have us fall in low, I believe they might cause our attention to intensify. The personality tho might cause us to fall in love, on some occasions. The same might make us wake up one day, realizing what we believed we saw in them is fake.

@SUPERVlXEN I think, we see in people what we want to see. Once our attention intensifies with someone, we see what fills our gaps and ignore what would make those gaps worse (which is why we then feel it was fake). Often, we are the ones tricking ourselves, ignoring red flags.
And it feels only time can really tell one way or another. At least I don't know different right now.
