You ever have a random person say something to you and it's stuck with you forever?

When I was doing sports as a kid some other kid was taking the piss out of me having my mouth open. Which is fairly ridiculous seeing as I was probably dying and trying to breathe. But whenever I run or exercise I remember it decades later and try to shut my mouth 🤣

I thought of one. One day i was walking my dog and she was being overly excited and enthusiastic that particular day. Some lady was walking past us and said to me "i cant tell who's controlling who". It wasnt overly harsh or anything but it bugged me. Its like, mind your business lady. But now anytime my dog is getting excited on a walk and is pulling her leash trying to drag me down the street, i hear her saying that to me.
