it's strange...

every now and then we just meet people. they come along. and then somerhing just draws you into them. it's inexplicable. even with a past that warns you to beware or cautious, you find yourself giving in to the notion of: "the past is the past. I need to carry on." and then you do.
you hit a couple of potholes, distractions and detours. nevertheless, doesn't it feel good to at least try? we're never going to get everything we want; but for the time being, we get what we need. think about that.

I couldn’t agree more!!
I believe people are drawn to one another for specific reasons, that they each need something that is found in the other.
I’m trying to learn to let go of the past and the thoughts that hold me back from experiencing and exploring what is brought into my life. I feel like I have to just try, because if I don’t then I may be missing out and left full of so much regret, especially when it’s something that is so clearly meant to be a part of my life….

letting go of the past is harder than people make it seem. it's a personal and inexplaianable struggle that we wouldn't wish upon anyone
